Reverend Kenneth L. Whittington answered the Lord’s call to become a priest and began his studies at the Sacred Heart Seminary of School of Theology in Milwaukee, WI. He was ordained a priest on May 21, 1988 in the Charlotte, Diocese. He spent four years at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Charlotte, NC before being assigned to St. Charles Borromeo in 1992.

Father Ken has enriched St. Charles Borromeo through his teaching, the joyful celebration of the Mass, and his dedication to our multicultural communities. He celebrates Mass in three languages, English, Spanish, and Hmong, and was instrumental in organizing our English and Hispanic choirs. He has watched our church grow from a membership of 200 families to over 700 families.
